The dispatchers and planners are young and most act like teenagers. The president of the company only respects his ethnic friends driving for the company. The owner of the company is wrapped up in himself and lacks respect for most drivers

Pros

Nice equipment

Cons

Immature planner's and dispatchers. Bad upper management

Some of the people are nice to work with however, I am now making five cents less per mile then I was when I was promised a job with Kam-Way in the meantime, while the owner reduces our salary, he takes a vacation and pays for a vacation for his entourage And he also buys property While he reduces our pay. I am barely even making it through now. Can’t pay my bills on time. Also: the driver of the year went to a driver that doesn’t care about his speed that will do anything and everything to get miles even break the law. This company does not care for its drivers. If you don’t want to be home, it’s a good company to work for.

Pros

Good equipment

Cons

Not a lot of home time No vacation time every year They will look at you like you are a number not a person The shop isn’t even working with a full crew and it’s not even working with half of a crew The medical is the worst medical you could ever yet The owner won’t even talk to you if you got a problem No miles

Very unprofessional driver management! DM are unexperienced. They encourage you drive on PC loaded to and from shippers. Don't question them because they will retaliate.

Pros

Nice trucks and trailers

Cons

Bad communication, unexperienced in trucking.

It was a good company for the most part but the dispatchers weren't that good I had a guy that was a model before he became a dispatcher. Then I had a girl dispatcher that was fairly new she kept trying to hit on me call me on the phone. Then told someone that I wanted to move to Blaine Washington. Then when I started to not feel my feet and my legs and I was having problem walking they could never give me to the doctor. When I tried doing it by myself I got b***h at for doing it. And my legs gave out in Washington and had to get picked up from an ambulance cuz my legs went stiff. They sent me home to Houston. Then they try saying they did not fire me. But one day wanted me to go back they said how to reapply. I was off work for about a year. But other than that I did have respect for the owner because I saw him train people, everybody was very nice. I had no problems with the shop. I just had problems getting time off because I did not live anywhere but I was trying to move to up there in Sumner that they couldn't give me the Sumner so they could give me an appointment so I decided to go move to Portland. Then they wanted me to go 65 in California constantly not 55 cuz they did not know how to plan the trip.

Pros

Friendly people that work there. I saw the owner training people how to drive.

Cons

No hometown, could not go to the doctor, I'm not playing my trips accordingly.
