Terrible dispatchers; none have any driving experience. They want you to drive 14 hours daily when they don't even work 8 hours. Their safety woman with less than two years' experience screaming at me over the phone. Fuel cards don't work or were shut off. Stay away from this company. You will regret working for them.

Kam-Way sucks. Try to deposit their checks and they do not have enough money to pay their carriers. They keep blowing us off for payment.

The dispatchers and planners are young and most act like teenagers. The president of the company only respects his ethnic friends driving for the company. The owner of the company is wrapped up in himself and lacks respect for most drivers

Pros

Nice equipment

Cons

Immature planner's and dispatchers. Bad upper management

Some of the people are nice to work with however, I am now making five cents less per mile then I was when I was promised a job with Kam-Way in the meantime, while the owner reduces our salary, he takes a vacation and pays for a vacation for his entourage And he also buys property While he reduces our pay. I am barely even making it through now. Can’t pay my bills on time. Also: the driver of the year went to a driver that doesn’t care about his speed that will do anything and everything to get miles even break the law. This company does not care for its drivers. If you don’t want to be home, it’s a good company to work for.

Pros

Good equipment

Cons

Not a lot of home time No vacation time every year They will look at you like you are a number not a person The shop isn’t even working with a full crew and it’s not even working with half of a crew The medical is the worst medical you could ever yet The owner won’t even talk to you if you got a problem No miles
