Load1 gave me a raw deal. Company straight trucks are poorly maintained. I wound up in a 2022 Cascadia that had had about 65,000 cigarettes smoked in it. I got into this unit after orientation and it broke down on my 1st load. The alternative truck had 3x the millage smelled like dog urine and hadn’t even been through their shop to get checked out. I got a massive GFY from their recruiter. All she did was push me off the phone, or away from her desk, and it just mad me feel unwelcome. After a weekend in a hotel, no guarantee the smelly truck would even be ready, I rented a car and left. I implore anyone looking to come to Load1 as a company driver to look elsewhere.

They tell you 30% line haul but it’s really only 28% they tell you you get $69.00 a day per diem but you don’t actually get it. They just make part of your pay non taxable. If your okay with $200 to $1,000 maybe a week.

Pros

Not to many right now

Cons

Inconsistent with what they tell you to get you hired
