The equipment was good, but the dispatcher was a turd, always planning the impossible. Their customers don't care about your time. Multiple times I spent over 10 hours at a shipper or receiver, only to be told "well, it's on you to get it there on time." They expect you to break the law to make it on time and it's your fault if you don't. Then they turn around and blame you for driving in a snowstorm.
Pros
They pay was alright, and the truck ran fine
Cons
Planners and dispatch expect you to be a robot and can't tolerate the reality of bad weather and slow loaders/unloaders making their plans not possible. They blame drivers for everything.

Way to much sitting around, no miles. One week you bring home 1000, the next 400. You get a bonus if you hit 1900 miles for a week...are you kidding me..that should say it all.
Pros
Maintenance folks are excellent
Cons
Literally everything but maintenance. Governed at 65 and it sucks to see all the other trucks but Walmart blow by you.

In order to lead a team in the transportation industry a person in the director level of management should have a measure of experience in your field. Unfortunately, at LTI, that is not the case in the Recruiting Department. Not only does the director not have sufficient experience in driver recruiting, he does not have people skills. This makes for a very uncomfortable workplace for some one that DOES have a lot of experience. Be careful applying here, you will be treated in a very "elementary" way. This is case where book learning definitely does not cover actual experience. Also be sure and understand that any earned commissions are forfeit if you decide to move on, even with proper written notice. You will not receive any of you hard EARNED commissions if you leave the company in this 100% turnover company. Understand drivers must be there 90 day before commissions are paid, you quit, you lose all unpaid commissions. You will be walked out the door when you give proper notice.
Cons
From inner office perspective, Inexperienced departmental leadership, run by family, not family atmosphere, not a lot of room for advancement. High driver turnover, forfeit any commission pay (talking thousand $$$) when you leave (even with proper written notice)
