Pros
New trucks, nice air conditioning but that’s it.
Cons
Super High Turnover, don’t trust route you are told you are going to get. Dispatchers are very bad. Too much competition for good routes. Incompetent communication. Orientation a joke.

Been at MVT since 2009. First as a company driver, now as an owner operator. (I bought the first company truck they gave me... It had 7 miles on it when I got it! 940k now!) They have always kept me rolling. Do they "suggest" you run harder by turning yourself on 10hrs or getting creative with your logging? Of course. That's their job. But, YOU are driving the truck. YOU decide when to start driving or not. Just because a voice on the end of a phone, or a message in the PeopleNet tells you to get moving, doesn't mean YOU HAVE to! Man up and just say "NO"! Once they clue in on the professional way you operate, they change their attitude and start working WITH you! They have no choice!

They'll
keep you out for weeks at a time and will bug you to roll out the instant your
34 hour reset ends, even if that's at 2am.
I've talked to several of their drivers who asked me about working for us and
they told me about that.

Mesilla
Valley.....
I was quoted 165 for a line haul from tucson to blythe...central transport was
paying me 200 for the same run...so, less than central transport
I called the number to complain about the bs ads, the one female that answers
always says "have a nice day" then hangs up...Same result when
emailing her...
Supposedly you win a harley if you have the best mpg in a year...LOL
So the guy doing 46 mph will win it, but the money he lost driving so slow
could have bought 2 harleys!!

Their trucks are mostly pos and they don't get but like 8 mpg at speed which is 65 not 70 they say 70 but governed at 65 they don't hold to their word and not enough miles a week messilla valley transport is the worst company I have ever drive for and that list includes ptl but mvt is way worse
