I've been with the company for a month and a half. First truck broke down they gave me another one and I was under the impression that they had inspected it, but that was not the case. Steer tires in really bad shape I didn't want to have them replaced in the terminal that meant staying an extra day there . I had Penske come to the yard in North Texas and have them replaced. Truck needs alignment pulls to the right, loose steering wheel. It was a smoker's truck the smell of nicotine is really bad. I was told that my score in fuel efficiency is high 28.7% because that's what the computer told him. Yeah, for a truck with almost 700,000 miles not to mention that I'm pulling over 40,000 lbs and going across the Appalachians, the Virginia mountains, West Virginia mountains and Maryland and Pennsylvania going uphill at 28-30 mph. I wonder if the computer takes that into accountability or the man that talked to me used a little common sense since he was a driver too!!?? I felt like he was reading sucker across my face. Didn't like his demeanor. So much for all the efforts I'm putting into it, sleepless nights with sometimes 2 hours sleep. I had a mishap with my Truckers Path App. I was in God's country with a couple of paved roads and somehow it took me into a dirt road that would lead me to the place. Long story short the truck got stuck they had to come and pull it out . Now, I'm paying for getting the truck out of the dirt road...talk about cutting off the livelihood of what barely pays my bills . Never heard of a company that does that to their employees because how dare you to make a mistake or else you'll pay for it!! I'm sure by now you know who I am. It doesn't matter I'm just a number. The man even told me not to let that bother me while driving Ha!!

Pros

They have some good, genuine people, though.

Cons

Right from the get-go I knew that whole system wasn't necessarily designed to benefit mainly the drivers or other employees. Everything has been meticulously "engineered" to fill their pockets. Nobody likes the truth, but you can't change it. A few of brown nosers that are given a position of "power" sitting on a chair and they feel like gods by calling the shots
