- Sliding pay per mile rates based on lengths of haul. Shorter miles equal higher rates per mile paid to the driver. Always a fair wage for a fair day regardless of miles. The average Metropolitan driver earns an effective average rate per mile, in an average week of over .48 cents per mile.

- Hazardous Material Premium of .05 cents per mile if you have an endorsement and haul a hazmat load
