Run The Other Way If you are thinking of Working here as an Owner Operator. I was repeatedly encouraged and told I should "Just do magic" with the logbook and violate the HOS rules. When loaded overweight I was told to "just go around the scales". I refused. I firmly believe some of these glowing reviews here are from the owners. After refusing these orders to violate federal law my lease was cancelled en route back to Colorado. I still delivered on time and returned all equipment. I am still owed $1330. I will gladly provide copies of all of this to anyone who contacts me. aapsbcaatgmail.com

Pros

Good Dedicated runs

Cons

Ulnawful, irresponsible and vindictive owners. Husband and wife company.

Ok so I was with Nomad for 4 months and then went on to sell my truck because it was giving me all kinds of problems with my dpf and finally had enough. Ivanna is SUPER nice and very knowledgable with the industry. I did her dedicated freight, and she kept me super busy!! I made great money while it lasted. Only thing I had a minor problem with was the home time but thats because I live in SD and its kinda hard getting me home. I give her credit tho because she got me home as soon as she could line something up. her contract with this dedicated freight is pretty serious and consistent. Worth it for sure

I was an owner operator for this company but my truck broke down unfortunately and i cannot afford the new motor but worked with Nomad for 6 months and they kept me running all the time. They have dedicated loads for the western states and its pretty nice to have consistent freight to move and no spot market craziness. Hopefully i can come back with a new truck.

Pros

dedicated pay

Cons

didnt like going to cali

Drove for Nomad for about 3 years as company driver and bought the truck from them and now run as an owner op with them. Husband / wife owners and they both split the responsibiities. Ivanna is a very experienced dispatcher and Slavo knows his logs better than anyone I worked for. The freight is the best thing to happen to me as a colorado driver. Dedicated / contracted and most importantly consistent. I hope they never go out of business because its crazy what we make compared to the load boards right now. Highly recommend!!
