This company is the most corrupt company I've ever worked for all these reviews are true I wish I would not have listened to the recruiter when I asked him about these reviews he told me they were lazy drivers and didn't know the industry well I'm here to tell you I'm far from lazy and I do know the industry only thing you're doing here is paying for that truck and trailer they do not care if you make a dime they're just another Ukraine company from Chicago don't pay taxes take 20% of your fuel surcharge and then tell you they give you 40 cents off a gallon at the Love's which is not true they make you sign a lease the truck and trailer and they still tell you what to do and how long you can be home I got home on a Friday they called me Monday morning told me I had 67 hours good rest I needed to go load after I spent 4 weeks on the road the government needs to step in on these people because this is the reason why they're trying to outlaw 1099. Oh and ask them about when you take your vacation time you still got to pay your coordinator the percentage of what he would have made for the truck that week. that's right they want you to pay your coordinator when you set home for a week on vacation crock of #### this is

Former Employee - Jul 10, 2024

I started with Nova Lines, in May 7th, 2024. Everything went Bad ???? From the start. Stayed in orientation since May 7th - May 13th, 2024 ( A Whole Week ) The Truck was issued on Late Friday May 10th, 2024; Never gave Me an assigned Dispatcher when it should be Done during orientation class. Was already had signed my lease since then. I had talk to General dispatch dept., and said they will call me with my assigned Dispatcher...Never happened !! Vp Operations told me while I was there at their main Building; said " well, you should have a load during the weekend and start making money." It Never happened this way. Speed things up- while I was working already getting loads; loads were 800, 1,200, and the highest was $3,860. This Dispatcher would only give me 2 loads per week. When I left from home time- which was 3 days. Thats when I had this $3,860 going outbound. And not even my current dispatch gave me that load; was another Dispatcher while he was on vacation. When I got my settlement statement by email ???? I noticed there was 2 transactions with $700 and the other was for $750 of diesel expenses. And on the statements said fueled in souix city, Iowa and the other in South Dakota. Told settlement dept. I never drove to those locations. On those dates I was in Pennsylvania delivering my load...plus ➕ those Trucks have GPS. The Other Problem was my Father was in Hospital ???? while I came back again for hometime. And had sent them current pictures ???? and pictures of me standing with my father in the hospital. And the truck as well was parked in my current home. Told them I can't leave just not now. I was at the hospital for a little pass week. And my intention was to stay only 3 days. My wholeeeee family told me to stay because our father was in risk of passing away and if would occur while I was on the road...I won't be able to make it not even to the funeral to see him before they bury him. So- i stayed and it was very very emotional for me with my father. Amd I also called my friends that were in class with me in nova lines...said hey " man, if you need to take care of your dad and give him the support by you being there with the rest of the family- so be it! You only have one 1 dad." By Next morning came and they sent someone to pick up the Truck ???? while I been all the time in communications with Nova. So- They picked up the truck and then 3 days passed; sent me an email ???? of my termination letter that included my lease date of separation plus ➕ Stated I had Abandon the truck ????. When Nova Lines knew I had send them proof of pictures I had parked at my home. And even more- when I came back from the road that GPS KNEW FROM THE TRUCK I WAS AT HOME! ....PARKED! AND SINCE THEN ITS BEEN THERE SINCE I WAS AT HOME WATCHING OVER MY DAD WHILE HE WAS AT THE HOSPITAL IN Critical Condition. That's My Story here with Nova lines !!! Been Driving for 25 years and Never Never had i abandon a truck in my career!!! And now it's on my Dac. Please Guys- Don't waste your time ???? Without us, Truckers there won't be NOVA LINES AND FOR THEM TO ABUSE AND STAIN YOUR Reputation and Steal your Money on Settlements...just Goes to show You - They Are There to Hurt anyone and everyone they can by getting new Trucks and Trailers and Thinking that you are going to get the Best Company Paying in the industry. And there are there to help you make u succeed. My highest pay was $1,600 after all expenses taken out. After that was 600, lowest -260 negative. Lol ???? ???? ???? Please Don't waste your time and hopes. If you want to go for it...then try it but if you read ALLLLLLLL THESE REVIEWS FROM OTHERS DRIVERS AND STATING SIMILAR THINGS I'VE MENTIONED HERE IN THIS REVIEW AND MY PERSONAL EXPERIENCE..THEN MAKE YOUR WAY TO FIND OUT FOR YOURSELF AND YOU WOULD COME TO CONCLUSION This Guys were all along Saying the Truth about Nova Lines. Best of luck to anyone who want to work FOR NOVA LINES !! FORMER DRIVER **

They advertise $7000 plus per week,I have yet to achieve this, largest pay check was $1,583 all others have been $500/$600 BUT some drivers will succeed and others will fail, they failed me,so I’ll soon be gone, kinda hard to make $7,000 in a week when you getting $1,100 runs,I’ll take my experience somewhere where it’s appreciated more,if you have no bills and are single you’ll do ok,they take 20% of your pay(normal) .40 off per gallon and you DO NOT get paid to tarp, they like to tell you about FMCSA compliance all the time and force you even if it’s unsafe to secure the load,it’s all about them not you,I’m just stating facts, you decide, but you have also been warned.

Pros

New trucks, good used trailers and equipment

Cons

You are given 2 lumber tarps that’s all,if you want other tarps buy them yourself,no FSC it’s .40 cents off per gallon
