Not perfect but great company. Home time there could be better. People there were respectful for the most part. Would occasionally send you to places where 53ft trailers didn’t belong. Micromanagement was also issue when you factor in the inward facing camera, forced dispatch, your speed, CERT RED, not knowing when your actually going home and etc. Just be the driver that agrees to everything and you will do well there. I know I lasted as long as I could lol.

Switching to Nussbaum Transportation has easily been one of the best career decisions I’ve made.
They talk a lot about being faith and family oriented and they truly live it out. It’s not just something on a website. From consistent miles every week to reliable home time on the weekends, they understand that drivers have lives outside of the truck.
The equipment is top tier. Newer trucks, newer trailers, clean and well maintained across the board. You can tell they take pride in what they put on the road.
The staff is what really stands out. They know you by name. You’re treated like a person, not a truck number. That personal respect makes a huge difference compared to the mega carriers.
Downtime is minimal. Most of the time you’re preloaded before delivering, which keeps you moving and making money instead of sitting around.
I’m genuinely thankful I found Nussbaum when I did and I’m proud to be here.
Pros
Consistent miles, 40+ hours home every weekend, minimal dispatch times, new equipment, friendly & respectful staff, known by name, detention at all locations
