Too much to tell within this small grid… I was put on as a team driver, with a person with less experience, but making more per mile than myself. This person thought it would be alright to kiss up to the uppers in the company. From the gate, they were all about running beyond our time allotted, in violation of the 10 hour clock, daily, all to impress the company managers. While sleeping in the sleeper one day, the person hit something at a fuel aisle, pulled over, took pictures of the damage, and sent them to safety accusing me of the damage, and reporting that they were asleep and felt a jolt, and woke up to damage on the tractor. I jumped ship from there, after being falsely accused, and questioned the following day. My side of the story didn’t fly, because they reported the damage first, while I was in the back on my rest break! There are so many other things I could state, but I’ll let a future OCE associate explain in their own details, the things that go on there… It’s unfortunate that there are companies ran by individuals that could care less about the drivers they hire on. I find in the industry, it’s all about “Go, go, go!” But when you’re pushed to the limit, any violation, accident etc. puts the driver at fault,..
