PTI takes care of their drivers. I've been with them for a year, driving 2000-2500 miles/wk, home every weekend. My driver managers have both been approachable and responsive. When I've had concerns, they've been addressed in a timely and thoughtful manner. Pay is competitive, benefits are decent, home time is consistent and predictable, detention pay is generous. Drivers are given enough time to complete a trip without being expected to cut corners or compromise safety. Overall I appreciate their professionalism and the effort they put forth to support their drivers. A smooth operation.

Pros

Professionalism, responsiveness, overall good treatment of drivers

Cons

Fairly high health insurance premium/deductible

Proud to have left Paper Transport – and even prouder of what I learned about my own worth. After 11 years of safe, professional OTR experience, I gave Paper Transport a second chance. What I got in return was a masterclass in exactly how a company should NEVER treat its drivers: • Rookie-level pay (barely $1,000 a week) for a veteran driver • Dispatch and driver managers who curse at, belittle, and talk down to the very people keeping their freight moving • Zero respect for family time – they treat home time like a favor instead of a right • An overall culture that views drivers as disposable slaves rather than the skilled professionals we are I had to raise my voice just to be heard. No driver should ever have to fight the people who are supposed to have their back. Walking away the second time was one of the most empowering decisions of my career. The moment I left, better-paying, driver-first companies started calling. Turns out the industry is full of carriers that actually value experience, pay top-tier mileage, and treat you like family – not freight. If you’re reading this and feeling stuck: You are worth so much more than this place will ever pay or respect. There are companies that celebrate 11+ years of clean driving instead of exploiting it. I found mine within a week of leaving PTI. To every driver still there – you’ve got options, you’ve got power, and you’ve got the experience companies are begging for right now. Demand respect. Demand real money. Demand a company that sees you as the hero of the supply chain (because you are). I didn’t just quit Paper Transport. I leveled up. You can too. ★ Five stars for teaching me exactly what I will NEVER settle for again. ★

Lucky to get 1800 miles a week, cheap trucks, old trailers, no dwell pay, no true empathy for drivers, misled from recruiter, nothing new about that, low miles equals low pay per week but gone 5.5 days. Not great company

Paper transport

Paper transport is a nother company that takes a lot of advantage of their drivers they set up your dock times during your 10 hour break they don't care if you have slept or not driving for them led me to a heart attack from driving two days or so with no sleep causing my stress levels to go up most companies are like this all they care about is the money people need to stay clear of trucks because you don't know if they've had any sleep or not

I worked 2 weeks with them and they run the hell out of you. Expect you to unload or load on your 10 hour break. And they want you to work 16 hour days everyday. Was told id be home for weekends. Get home on saturday at noon. You better be leaving at noon on sunday. No time at home. Great trucks and good money but will run you to death. Thats why they have a big turnover.

Recruiter in Green bay Wisconsin will promise you everything and deliver on nothing.Went to their orientation in Jacksonville,Florida only to find out there's no equipment available.Lynn in the office greeted me with a real attitude and tells me the exact opposite of what my recruiter told me.I'm savvy to this old game and decided to walk away from this offer.
