Been with Paragon for a while now and overall really happy. Freight is consistent, pay is solid, no issues with management. Home time is usually on point, occasionally it slips but nothing crazy. Equipment is good and dispatch is reasonable. Would recommend.
Pros
Good people who care for their drivers, bad apples will always post bad stuff but Paragon has been nothing but good to me and 6 people I brought to work here after me

Hometime is sometimes flexible but they go out of their way to make it right

Drove for Paragon as a company driver and honestly one of the better experiences I've had in this industry. Stayed out 2-3 weeks at a time which suited me fine — miles were there and that's how you make money. What I really liked was the consistency of the freight. Same customer base, same lanes, you get to know the routes and the shippers. Made life a lot easier than chasing random loads every week. Pay was strong, no complaints there. If you're the type of driver who wants to stay out, stack miles and not deal with chaos every dispatch, this is your kind of company.

Beware! Don't get paid when you are supposed too! Can't get me enough miles. Then the real kicker. I was told to go to the yard. They needed to check some codes. I arrived then they took my keys. Said we were parting ways. No paycheck! No where to go, cannot even get a room. Left high and dry!!

Shop guys are cool and know what they are doing.

The upper management are spinless cowards who pass down orders. Without explanation. Foreign #####!!

I get back home every weekend, which is what I want. They are very accepting of my schedule and pay me the best out of any company I have worked for. These other reviews do not properly showcase this great company with great people.

Equipment isn’t bad although no Apu dispatchers will call you at three in the morning after driving your clock out and ask you if you want them to add hours to your clock they say it’s a co started by drivers for drivers but they have no understanding of how a ELD works and you won’t make any money here the most miles you will get is 2000 a week and they will call you from overseas and not be able to get through and then blame the driver as well as a co with mostly foreigners working there and and you will never talk to the same dispatcher twice in one day you never know who’s going to call you think twice before you decide to go with this co.
