We've been in trucking for 80 years and under the same family and values the whole time. RexDon started in 1946 as a one-man household moving outfit, moved into towaway trailer delivery in the early '80s, and today we're one of the largest power-only carriers in the country, running all 48 states.
Here's what makes us different from most: we don't own trucks. Every truck in the RexDon fleet belongs to the owner-operator driving it. We're not a company fleet with a lease-purchase program on the side. The O/O model is our business, and it has been for decades. We also don't broker and don't trip-lease. Every load you pull is going to a RexDon customer; trailer manufacturers, dealers, leasing companies, and repair shops we've worked with for decades.
The bulk of what we move is empty trailers. Relocations for manufacturers and dealers: single trailers, pups with dolly gear, stacks of flatbeds, and trailer-mounted equipment. We have a couple of customers we pull loaded freight for, but that's the exception, not the rule. Either way it's power-only...You're never touching freight yourself.
Our average driver has over 20 years OTR. Our office staff has 100-plus years in the industry between them. We know our drivers by name, not by truck number. If you talk to any of them, they'll tell you the same thing.
