My name is Stanley Williams and I have been with Road legends over a year, it's a great company they have new and used equipment for drivers, the dispatchers and fleet managers are very easy to work with. I'm averaging 2500 weekly and I get home when I need to be and when I did have a problem with my truck the maintenance department was right there to solve the problem.
Pros
Great equipment, friendly environment great pay , if my truck needed shop work for any reason I was given a loaner truck so that my money would not stop.
Cons
Some Northeast driving

The equipment here at Road Legends is top notch new equipment. I am currently operating a 2026 T680 Kenworth with a Cummings engine and it’s equipped with sn APU.
The maintenance team will contact you when it’s time for all scheduled lubes, oil changes and DOT inspections. DOT inspections are done every 6 months both truck and trailer. They are very serious about taking care of their equipment.
They would like for us to stay on the road for at least two weeks at a time. They will always contact you at the beginning of every week to see if they need to route you home just in case you need to go by your house to take care of personal business. If you have an issue they have no problem with getting you home as quick as possible.
The pay varies and the reason why I say that is because it depends on how you run. If you are one of those drivers that only drive when the sun is up, you won’t make as much as a driver that is behind the wheel every time the 10 hour break is up, no matter what time day or night it is. Take home pay starts at $1800 a week and I have brought home as much as $3600 a week. The dispatchers are awesome. So it’s like I said, it depends on the driver. If you want to make money you have to put in the effort. You can make a descent pay here and have fun doing it. Here you are the boss and no forced dispatch nor punishment for not taking a load. None of that.
I average about 3000 miles per week. Depends on where I’m at and the customer of course. A 3000 mile week is a very good settlement week. You will gross anywhere between $6500 to $9000 a week. Those are real numbers that I actually accomplished in my soon to be two years this month since I’ve been here at Road Legends.
Pros
Consistency in pay! Equipment! Maintenance! Hard working dispatch team that are truly concerned about your safety and income.
Cons
This really isn’t a con but the trucks are governed at 70 and I can understand because of the safety score of the company.
