Severs Trucking LLC reviews

Someone recently commented that Severs was a horrible place to work. Stated that home time was hard to get, and 34 hr resets were done on the road and pay was only 40 per mile with 65 mph governed trucks. Severs has very nice equipment with either Peterbilts or Kenworth. Some are manual and some automated. Trucks are governed at 70mph. Pay starts at 62cents per mile, with very generous detention pay compensation. Home time is very lenient unless you prefer to stay home more than on the road. Then they going to take issue. 34 hour resets are often done at home. I prefer to run on recaps and stay out additional time. The Brothers who run Severs, although they are very approachable, they leave the drivers alone to do what drivers do…drive.

Severs pays .62 cpm Just like they say. They are awesome ppl to work with for!!!!! Good equipment! Great Benefits, After 60 days they pay Fully paid medical insurance premium for employee. You get Paid weekly.

Been here 4 plus yrs. They have treated me my family good. I plan on retiring from here! I have been in good working equipment here.

Been at Severs for several years now, as my father was also employed here but is not anymore due to health reasons. Severs trucking has been the best driving job I could ever have asked for. Other comments posted about them are true very easy to make 100k+ a year. Family company better ran than I have seen anywhere. To grow in this economy is not easy. Every year since I been here we always get some kind of bonus or raise. Miles are very easy to get and home time is good. They understand me having little little kids at home they mean world to me so I do not miss important things ever. When I go into office if brothers/ owners are down stairs they always stop off to see how I am as well as all the office. Trucks are very nice and equipment is always looked over. All the years I been here knock on wood I've never been on a hook. But the one thing that sticks out to me about severs trucking that I have never felt working at any other job is they actually appreciate you and care about you. They will go above and beyond to help you. Best move I ever made was to work here. Dispatch is very knowledgeable, and quick to keep you rolling and getting you home. They are nice and also don't brush you off like you don't matter. Mostly pull tanks and hoppers, just with anything you may have to sit but they always pay detention. Brand new wash, shop, and office/ driver lounge its so nice!!! Wash is state of the art.
