They will steal your money. They will not give you anything upon returning the equipment. They lie to get you to sign up and rob you blind. Managers do not communicate. Don't listen to anything V says if you can understand her. The recruiter will lie to you just to get you on board. They are out to make money for themselves. This is the worst company I ever dealt with . I ran 8,000 miles and received a negative settlement every week. The 25% is for them and they will take it off the rip and leave you to pay for everything else with the 75% fuel, deductions, insurance, trailer, escrow, plates( whether you have them or not). They charge you for everything and they will not help you if you need anything. They will not have the drivers best interest at hand. You are just someone they can make money off of

None at all

I only worked a couple months with them. They were horrible at communicating especially weekends. Don’t return calls on time and do not care about you out over the road. They will leave you stranded on side of the road before they help pay for anything. They are on a lot of do not load lists and csa scores are very low. But they will charge you for everything. Strike system is a joke. The only good thing about this company is that you definitely won’t have anyone looking over your shoulder. You do control your own business, but with minimum to no help whatsoever.

Pros

Home time and independence

Cons

Horrible communication, will terminate your contract for any reason, will not help you if your in a jam.

Pulled for them for over a year and a half. 75/25% Line Haul split. Trailer: $195/wk or bring your own (van) Samsara ELD: $19/wk DAT Load Board: $18/wk OCC ACC Ins: $44/wk $50/wk for base plates (if needed and until paid off) $50/wk for Escrow ($1000 total, reimburse when equipment returned.) Self Dispatch, Negotiate own rates, pick your own lanes & time off. Overall very hands off, which I like, but they are REALLY hard to get a hold of (especially weekends) when you need them. Settlements are consistent weekly, but your statements could arrive any day of the week (even after deposit). My biggest issue was communication problems and accounting. Their 1099’s are wrong. They are supposed to include all revenue on the 1099 so you can claim all deductions, but they only put your Net-to-Truck on there. Not a big deal if you have a good accountant. CSA scores are a problem. A few drivers over the last couple of years have been VERY bad on inspections driving it down. They implemented a safety program in 2021 to fix it and it has seemed to improve. Overall I do recommend them if you have a good accountant. The line haul split is high for what little support you get in my opinion, but it’s nice to not have anyone hanging over your every day decisions.

Pros

Very hands off Set Own Loads/Rates Take time off whenever you want.

Cons

Poor communication 25% line haul split high for support given Less than stellar accounting practices

**Here's some info just on my behalf hope this helps people trying to keep their business afloat..I do have supporting documents, texts, emails, and screenshots of these issues that I dealt with. Started out great! But then I started having lots of issues with this company **never would get a straight answer on anything or called back with an answer **ignored phone calls **ignored rate confirmations (unless during business hours) **They have a strike policy based on your driving habits and give you strikes based on ELD info. There is like 15 different things they issue strikes for. **They do not consult with driver b4 giving the strikes 1st strike=$75 penalty on settlement 2nd strike=$150 penalty on settlement 3rd strike= contract termination **3 strikes and your out. **1 strike removed monthly. Of course there's a reward for no strikes in a month and that's the money they take from other drivers. **My contract was terminated 1 week after I finally got the license plate paid off.So the next truck these plates go on for the next 6 months is total profit. That should tell you ALOT about what this company is really about and what they are after.Making money off those numbers and that sticker that you put on your investment.Solo wouldn't be anything without the factoring company and the owner operators. **In your orientation phone call set your weekly goal $ amount low becuz they will end your contract if you don't make within that amount weekly.(they call it low performance) **Micromanagement 101. **Dont take off more than 7days in a row becuz it gives them reasoning to end the contract. **Their slogan is total BS. **When you get a strike you don't know about it until the next week's settlement. Good luck in getting the penalty money back. **THESE ARE ONLY ISSUES THAT I HAD TO DEAL WITH THOUGHOUT MY TIME (6MONTHS) WITH THEM. WAS HIRED ON IN DEC'20 STARTED HAVING PROBLEMS WITH THEM IN FEB'21 AND ENDED CONTRACT JUNE'21. **I KINDA FELT LIKE I WAS TREATED POORLY AND DEFINITELY DIFFERENT THAN SOME PEOPLE IF YOU GET MY DRIFT.I CANT IMAGINE THEM TREATING THE WHOLE FLEET THIS WAY. **They do have a freight guard on their numbers.3 different Brokers had brought that up in the different phone calls when trying to book a load. **3 DOT Inspections done a year at a Loves or T/A or Petro. Couldn't use my own DOT qualified mechanic to save money like their video says. **Their deductions stated in their YouTube video are outdated. **They don't really have any discounts other than fuel. **Fuel card isn't accepted at Flying J or Pilot.Loves doesnt give discounts on anything but you can fuel there and get Loves points on the Loves rewards card. **

Pros

Paycheck was legit every Friday.Direct deposit Settlement invoices were emailed. The days you get ur settlement invoice varied between Tuesday,Wednesday,or Thursday. They will take ALL arrears out along with deductions. No matter if it leaves you in the negative or not at the end of each settlement. They do pay for a passed inspection. **So be careful!! **Solo will get their money first **If the load you are interested in was approved by the credit/factoring company then you got to haul it.

Cons

They may make it sound like there's no hassle but in reality they create more hassle that gets controlled by themselves and created and tailored just for you it seems like. They make sure that the owner operator knows who actually runs the show.Once you put those numbers and that sticker on your investment do everything you can do to protect urself.
