Owner is a liar. The recruiting guy is a liar. The only good thing is the guys doing local dispatch and guy that does flatbed. The drivers get screwed all the time for "favors" for owner. Only things changing around there is office people and drivers. Turn over rate sucks.

Home time rarely on time. Trucks are not maintained well or in a timely manner. Management not very professional, rude to drivers that are the backbone of the company. Promises made upon hiring not followed through. Very disrespectful, no compassion if you face a dire health situation.

Put a 110 percent in and got nothing in the end. I was ready to quit, because they gave me a #### truck and other things. The secretary chased me down to cone back inside. I stayed about 4 hours talking to them and in the end they just wasted my day. I talked to the owner, then his safety flunkies. There were 2 guys watching me as I emptied my truck and tgey blocked the semi in like I'm a thief. They were calling me names, acting like lunatics, watching me like hawks. Not very friendly or professional.

Pros

Good run at beginning if the week, downhill afterwards

Cons

Messed up hometime almost every week.

Blow smoke. Tell you what you wanna hear then when done on phone or leave office no change. They have huge office turn around and drivers suffer because of it.

I have worked at Sparhawk Trucking for 4 months now and enjoy every day. Most of the people are pleasant to work with not to mention I get to bring my dog with me to work. The owner is extremely caring and understanding. I'm thankful for the opportunity to work for such an amazing company.

I enjoy being in a team environment.

Wish I got paid weekly instead of by weekly
