Like most freight companies, they will tell you nothing but lies. Been with this company for over a month now and nothing they have told me is true. They will only pay you the max amount if you are hauling hazmat. They told me that there was an armed guard at their drop yard and there isn’t. They told me that the yard was fenced in…if you count pallets as a fence. They told me that I would be running the southeast. I’ve seen sleet, snow and mountains of ne ky, Nc, va, almost to Ohio. Never believe anything they say.

Pros

They keep you running almost all of your 70

Cons

They keep you working for pennies.

Not a good company. Hired to do regional loads. Next minute they are using me to pickup loads to park for others on the yard. I live in Atlanta so you cannot make money sitting in traffic. They have local drivers who get paid by the hour. I do not. Last straw was I had a doctor’s appointment early at 9:40. They asked me to do a load at 1pm and deliver by 11pm. I was ok with doing it that one day but then they decided I was going to do it for the rest of the week as a dedicated driver without my permission. I love my freedom so I was not going to suddenly change my work hours and drive tired because if you start at 12pm you can be out until 2am and my hired schedule was to work first shift. They do not pay for orientation and wanted me to do 52 videos at home before I started with no compensation. A new way of thievery. Per the FSLA they are supposed to pay. It is not voluntary. They also charged me $350 for resigning/quitting although they were the ones who changed my job description from what I applied for.

Pros

Pets are welcome

Cons

Don’t pay for time spent working.

I enjoyed working for this company. The staff is friendly and helpful. When I needed a week off for personal reasons, my manager was understanding. The CPM was lower, but my manager always kept me moving. I got a decent number of miles. This company truly cares about their employees.

If You think For a single second your are worth anything to them.... Say You perfer a manual and You are instantly an enemy. I was FORCED to drive an automátic.... For 100,000 miles FOR to drive a truck I was NOT comfortable driving... And i thank God everyday For My termination... I Will never ever drive another Automatic semi again... I'm still paying For My cdl... But id rather pay it than be responsible For the death of someone else or My own...autos are not safe, period.

Pros

Awesome breakdown team

Cons

Rude Dispatch Incompetent Financial staff Invasisve driver cameras Will absolutely put the load over the law and your life Lie about layover pay

Titan transfer inc . Shelbyville tn.

Dont work for Titan transfer inc. They will promise you the moon and stars and you will get it for about a month . Then their true colors start showing . They place loads on you that cant be made legal . Hometime starting out is as was quoted to me as hometime is what you want it to be ( suppose to be weekends off ) now its lucky to get a 34 in before next delivery . Was told they pay pratical miles which also started out that way but now is "pc miler pay " in turn cheats you out of 5-10% of your miles . Starts out with about 70 to 80 % drop and hook now down to about 50% . Once your here and they've used all these methods to cheat you here comes another . They give you loads after you have start your 14 hour clock that cant be delivered legal . Just delivred tires in jackson ms. On my 10 hr. Break . 4 hrs. To get unloaded on my 10 and no pay for . I am now officially looking for another job and have reported them to the fmsca . So if your thinking about driving for Titan transfer Inc. Of shelbyville tn . You have been warned so if you do keep looking while your there . You will need a back up company !!!

Titan Transfer, Shelbyville TN- A great company!!

In my opinion, they truly care about their drivers at Titan. My driver manager is one of the few best managers I've ever had. Like I said, the few. Their pay isn't to bad (maybe not the best). I started out at .39-.40 com, & now I'm to about .43 cpm. They get u home every weekend. Although myself I would probably opt for longer time out. But, that's just me. No forced dispatch to NYC, or Canada. I opted for No NYC, but I did volunteer for longer runs & Canada. U can choose either Flatbed or Van. And Titan is steadily growing. The only thing I don't like about Titan is the limited fuel stops. Which, I understand their reasons, but it does make it awkward for the driver sometimes. They have good equipment (tractors & trailers). Sometimes I might end up with a trailer that is problematic, but that isn't too often.
