Worked here a couple years ago, absolutely terrible experience. They lie about the “average” you make each week, you end up sitting at home more than you do working unless your one of their favorites. Don’t waste your time with this company unless you wanna sit at home and not make money.

Pros

None at all.

Cons

Everything.

Company of liars will tell you they will give you $1900 a week and take it away two weeks. They literally finically ruined my family. Run as far away from this company!!

Pros

Cons

Everything is bad they don’t care for their employees

I’ve been with Venezia for almost 5 years now and will never look at another company. Back in 2020 I had a situation in my personal life that changed my trucking career forever. They were the only company that worked with me being a single full time parent. During the years of employment I felt like family to them. You have no tanker experience of course your gonna start small but you gotta be willing to be patient and learn there ways of doing things. The money will come and the more you know the more money you make. As long as you’re doing your job and do things safely then you will never have an issue making money here. The benefits are good too your time here will always be valued.

Pros

Benefits Pay Good Equipment Consitant work

Cons

None

Training did not prepare properly, same delivery place all through training did not prepare for different hook-ups and applications. Maintenance seemed a bother when reporting issues. For example: I received three brand new tanker & lids were not checked for tightness, this dropping pressure spewing out flour & g taking extended delivery time. Got called in for reporting.

Pros

Pat was ok

Cons

Tackled that already.

Q: Any info recently or any advice. 3 weeks out hauling oil up to Canada from NJ.

A: Didnt know they make you stay out 3 weeks but anyway the best part about them is the health insurance very reasonable and low deductible.you'll be pulling out of exxon-mobil in paulsboro nice place to load and right on the scale.bad part is they hold two weeks of pay so you wont get a paycheck for three weeks and the miles you run are always more then what you get paid for.any questions i probably can answer for you i use to work for them as a o/o and still have a buddy working as acompany driver.

Former venezia employee here. Ran cement, flatbeds, propane, blimps, oil, and chemicals for them. I miss the atmosphere, but the pay and benefits need some work. When you go out for a load from say Philadelphia to Pittsburgh for propane, you cannot go through the tunnels on the PA turnpike. I won't bother with the route details, but your alternate options add between 75 and 100 miles of road that is a lot more challenging during winter conditions. Now remember, they pay HHG miles. So there goes 10 percent of your actual miles, but the hazmat routing doesn't add miles. So now you are driving 100 more miles than the routing program pays you for, then they shave 10 precent off for the HHG method. They are nice people, but be warned of the payment methods.
