Former Employee - Jan 21, 2026

I joined the company based on representations of competitive compensation and long-term opportunity. In practice, earnings for non-senior drivers were significantly below industry standards relative to the hours required, resulting in compensation that did not reflect the workload or expectations of the role. While the equipment was well maintained, the pay structure appeared to disproportionately benefit senior and OTR drivers, leaving limited upside for others. My employment ended following a single incident that was determined to be outside my direct control. While I respect a company’s right to enforce policy, the response demonstrated a rigid approach that failed to account for context, prior performance, or an established safety record. Combined with concerns regarding compensation alignment, transparency, and job stability, this experience highlighted broader issues in driver retention and leadership judgment. Given the compensation structure, workload expectations, and overall stability, I would not recommend this role except as a last-resort option.

Pros

The trucks and employees(auto haulers)

Cons

Pay Job security

Used to be a great company until changes in management. The new "manager" doesn't give a damn about anyone but himself, and he'll tell you that. Horrible load building and dispatching. Tons of money wasted because of it. It's become nothing but a dickslatership and the "janitor" should start paying more attention.

Horrible place all the way around from their extremely inappropriate maintenance manager Alexis or maybe Lexus not exactly sure what her actual name is as all she did was speak loudly over me and give me the worst attitude the entire time when I spoke with her! Her and that entire front office team! I have never spoken to more uneducated grumpy and rude women in my life I feel bad for VTC that these girls are the first voice and probably face you see when contacting VTC. Leo, you need to take over the hiring end of things and tell your manager Jeff to take a hike bc he is making your company look really bad with these people he is bringing into your company! Never ever do any business with this place, I absolutely won’t! Terrible terrible place

Pros

None. Not one!

Cons

There isn’t enough spaces here to list them after a very short experience with this place

Oh boy where to begin, was expecting the company to be head and shoulders above the previous company after hearing a bunch of drivers out on OTR say they heard great things about the pay and the culture. Then orientation comes and my first red flag was when the speaker made a reference to the high turnover and they would never be done hiring. That should have been my warning to run. Their dispatch and leadership management is a joke, high turnover, was suppose to make more at VTC and made way less than previous employer. Very dishonest company.

Pros

Free clothing stipend.

Cons

Management, incompetent dispatch, discriminating practices.

Hard to break in as a new driver. Especially discouraging when stuck on shuttles paying 100$ and the driver loading beside you is getting a 900$ load and will do a lot less work than you. The equipment looks nice but as a new driver you will get a truck that has been neglected as a spare or been parked a long time. Mine would not idle overnight to keep bunk comfortable without setting off alarms for a regen and disturbing your rest. If your young and single this may be tolerable but for someone that is experienced, has minimal damages as a hauler and a clean driving record, it's unacceptable

Pros

Pay, if you can earn it

Cons

Too big, you are just a number
