All custom trailers that require daily set up for clients. I worked 2 tours and was blamed for anything that happened. Drivers are out for up to 300 straight days. If you can't get a job anyplace else they will probably hire you.

Pros

I worked with a great dispatcher but she was only as good as what she was given and most of the time she had less information than me. If you keep the client happy you're basically OK but remember, the owner and his number 1 flunky are going to throw you under the bus every time.

Cons

Equipment sucks, management team wants to blame you for everything that goes wrong. $300.00 a day isn't enough to break even some places. 1099 contractor but you don't get the benefits as it doesn't pay enough to buy hotels and dinner Experiential Marketing is a fun job but these folks suck you dry and then want to sell you water.

The equipment, all custom one offs for clients. Looks sharp but is held together with cheap fixes. VFI bills the client big bucks but never really does repairs. Tour Managers are great but are pivots for crappy management. They catch the flak and spoon feed it to driver's. There is no home time... Once you start a tour you are gone 300-330 days. Home time is if the tour routes through the house. If you have any other options, anyplace is better than this one.

Pros

Get to see a lot of cities and drive in them. Meet new folks every day and learn a product line better than the sales team from the client.

Cons

YOU are the reason anything goes wrong. VFI throws driver's under the bus for everything. If you leave the will do everything they can to stop you from getting employment. Take pictures of everything with time and date stamps to prove to prospective employers that you did your due diligence. It is the only reason I have a job today.
