Doug Cook created Wasatch Tank Lines in January of 2006. Trucks were ran out of Evanston, Wyoming and operations were ran out of his home, located in the Heber Valley. They moved to their first office space on Main Street in the Spring of 2007. After one year of operations Doug’s brother, Paul Cook, joined the company as a partner.
Following Spring of 2007 the company focused it’s growth for the next few years in the Salt Lake and Las Vegas areas. With the company expanding and the need for extra space for office staff and operations the company purchased a closed down log mill and western retail shop and started renovations for a new office building and truck yard in 2014. Renovations were finished in the Spring of 2015 when they moved into their new home.
Opportunities presented themselves in the year of 2016 for more growth and expansion into other markets. In the Summer of 2016 the company expanded operations into Phoenix, and in the Fall, expanded operations into Sinclair, Wyoming. More recently Denver, Colorado was added to the list in the beginning of 2018.
