Just like with any other company you have good weeks with good runs and not so good weeks. But with the freight being the way it is its going to happen. Home time is good 5 days out 48 hrs. at home, wish the pay was higher but again look at the times. Several companies say they will pay more but with the reality of their miles you wound up making the same.

Pros

Very nice people, treat you with respect and not just another number

Cons

The shop is rather slow and seem to not want to do their work most times and that is at both locations.

Dispatch plays the clueless game A LOT. You can communicate all you want but they will pretend you said nothing. OTR is regional without home time you'll get the same loads. The shop is too busy playing video games and if you have a problem that can put you oos. Too bad. Come to the shop even if you're 1300 miles away. Or get yelled at. The load takes high priority over anything else.

Pros

It's regional only that's it

Cons

All issues go to the shop even if you have what could be oos.

Be careful if you have a broker load that you will be late on with no fault of your own. The shop is useless for otr. I was told "Our priority is the load. Not working on replacing a tire" (may sound bs but I remember it word for word) Even saying unless it's flat, why are you stopped? Saftey is not first here. You will get automatic trucks. If they ask If you can drive manual (allegedly they have some) Don't bother answering.

Pros

Better than an old freightliner.

Cons

Shop closed on weekends, if a broker gives you a load that is already late. It's your problem.

OTR sits on weekends because most dedicated accounts closed on Sunday (or planners just can't be bothered to find your reload for the weekend by quiting time on Friday. Not sure if it's lazy, incapable, or just not good planners.

Pros

Nice truck if your OTR. Crappie run down trucks if you are regional. Tried both.

Cons

Sit for hours waiting for reload. Weekends are wasted due to sitting and waiting to unload at a receiver that is closed on weekends. Communication is poor. OTR doesn't mean longhaul or good miles with this company, not by a Longshot.

Communication is very poor. From dispatch you get nothing. Not sure what their job is here. Safety threatens termination if you fail to do a"post trip" inspection everyday at a 5 minute minimum. Do not forget it while you sit for hours waiting on load and decide to close the curtains. She will terminate you.

Pros

Nothing really. I hate it here.

Cons

Dispatch, communication, planners, benefits, safety, equipment.
