Drove for Z Transportation about 9 months. It was a solid company overall. They keep you moving so you can make money. All the trucks are newer, mine was clean and didn’t give me problems. Pay always came on time, no issues there. Dispatch was alright, nothing crazy, just normal work.

Pros

Good miles most weeks, all newer trucks, pay always on time, easy work, no big stress.

Cons

Home time like 4/5, sometimes don’t line up exactly how you want.

Worked there like 7 months. Company was ok. Pay came every week and truck was newer. They had loads so you not really sitting too much. Dispatch was mostly cool, just sometimes hard to reach when busy.

Pros

Steady work.. on time pay.. newer trucks!

Cons

Dispatch not always picking up fast.

I drove for Z Transportation out of North Carolina around 8 months... Job was decent.. They had regional runs so I was getting home most weekends which was big for me... Miles was ok, some weeks better than others. Truck was newer and didn’t give me much trouble.., Dispatch was straight up, just want you to deliver on time.

Pros

Home most weekends, steady loads, pay came every week, decent truck, not much pressure.

Cons

Sometimes short miles, waiting at few shippers, plans can change last minute.

Was with Z maybe like 7 months. They run you if you want run. I made decent money there. Truck was clean when I got it. No big problems with dispatch. Just normal trucking stuff you know.

Pros

Consistent work, weekly pay, newer trucks, simple loads.

Cons

Lot of waiting sometimes, few last minute changes, hard to plan home time every time.

Good company with good miles and it has some really good people who truly have your back, running for more than 5 years with them. Equipment is always kept clean and regularly upgraded. Miles are from 2500 to 3200, and the pay is the sweet spot. Shoutout to Klaus, Cole, and Sam.

Pros

equipment, miles

Cons

you gotta fight for a good dispatcher
