Pay at XPO is as follows:
Company Drivers
$20.25-$23.00/hr usually a $1500 sign on bonus
Owner Operators
Extras
Truck Insurance
Never pull another load from this company short pay for any excuses. Be alert before take a load from them
Business owners beware do not use them cause you will lose clients. Terrible Service and never keep the actual date and keep on pushing the date out for delivery. i was charged for in home delivery and installation..Don't ever trust XPO logistics better not to use this service as they are not at all reliable. Even there phone support was hard to reach had to wait for hours to talk to someone and they also don't help.
Bad company to work for owner op. No money in to be made rates suck dispatcher play favorites with loads. They will tell you that there is no work and they will have loads that need to be covered setting in yard for days
Update to original review. Besides the fact they lied about job specifications, equipment that I would be driving, and pay, they also stole my last check... Wish I would have never wasted my time, learn from my and others mistakes...
XPO been here a couple weeks as O/O out Ohio The dispatchers and management are very rude and nasty not very professional cant book loads to save there lives and always want to blame driver.
Straight up company, been there 3+ years as a company driver 3 mos and I/C 3 years. Checks every Friday exactly as stated, averaged 2,800/month (working 21 or 22 days, home 8 or 10 days/month) Good on the bottom line/1099. Northeast does yield $.05/mile additional. They only give $.03/mile for HM loads. IMHO? Good place to work.
All I can tell you is I been here a long time, and what I can see since xpo took over is down hill from drivers perspective...they keep chopping and chipping away, and I haven't seen much of anything good added to date for the drivers perspective since they took over, my opinion of course. I have an ace in the lol company I been speaking with, so far its much better. xpo all about making stock owners happy and well drivers, I let you draw the picture, know what I mean?...Have a safe one driver
all miles are paid the same. you are paid up on Dispatch. layover and breakdown is paid at $75 per day I put in for layover this morning for the weekend and had a response within a couple of hours.you get an extra $0.03 for hazmat I think you get an extra nickel for Northeast pay, that's anything above to the Virginia North Carolina state line, I've been to Long Island twice in 5 years never had to make a delivery within the 5 boroughs of New York
