Walmart greeter might be the best bet. When you are starting over nothing is going to be perfect. Especially when you are choosing a mega. Trainer might smoke, won’t run the area you want, deal with it. Get through your training you need and move on instead of worrying about this stuff.

I agree with you about the smoke... I can't stand freakin smoke... I can smell it when neighbor next door smokes and the darn smell stays in my head...for hrs...

I have just watched a YouTube video with Tim Aschoff and Eric Kutter answering questions from many drivers... They confirm that locating empty trailers is still a problem they couldn't have solved yet... specially after COVID for the reasons you have just explained... Crete former driver told me some drivers seal the empty trailers so that nobody else get them...And the next problem about drop and hook is hooking to trailers with unfixed problems left by previous driver...
I guess you may encounter many of those...
