Put your foot down… What are they gonna do you fire you?… I seriously doubt it considering they’re allegedly in desperate need of drivers…

I talked to my home terminal, and they said that WM is not required, and that I can decline.
I already accepted a 200 mile PP,and am waiting for the load ready message.
Tomorrow,I’m going to tell them to switch me back to National.

    JoeyJunk and drvrtech77 Thank this.

When you are a helper you end up with the shortest of runs. Not bad if you lived next to the facility and are semi retired and trucking part time but not productive at all after the 'help' period ends.

I ran the Mankato dedicated for 1.5 years and if you were helping during the holiday then you would see more miles. If you were REALLY efficient then they would try and get 3 loads onto you. 2 runs up to the twin cities and a 3rd doing the Walmart/Sam's in town.

JoeyJunk, Winnyf1 and O.Henry Thank this.

Repeat after me "Get me the flying F off this Walmart #### or tell me where you want me to shove this truck!!!!!!!"

According to one of Propaganda Tim, Walmart drivers make great money...you mean he was being deceptive? Say it ain't so, management lying, not at this fine, outstanding company

The full time dedicated drivers do because they get the premium runs..when you fill in , you get the scraps.

On regular runs they pay a staggered dollar amount depending on the miles, not sure about on the dedicated fleet...but we do make an extra $.06 per mile for helping. Based on the miles he posted, he might be able to afford an un-happy meal at McD's
