Another post but again it's hard to find anything about these gigs
This company said they deliver medical freight to hospitals, clinics, etc
No cameras in the trucks and pay starts at 28 with OT after 40
Anyone drive for medtrans / medlines before?

I've never driven for them but I deliver alot to their facilities and I know they're drivers start work at like 2 am .
Speed_Drums, mpow66m, LeGendofSeven and 1 other person Thank this. -
I did in NY,they just opened a massive 1 mill. sq ft WH here or something that size. When I worked at the old place there were maybe 9 drivers, now they cant fill all the slots in the new place.Turnover is high pay is sub standard for this area,LTL comps are paying 35 and change here,Medline is paying like 30/hr last I heard.Bssically from what Ive heard is a soup sandwhich there in NY.YMMV in other locations.
LeGendofSeven Thanks this. -
Assuming OP is well qualified, just ask for more money, maybe they say 'OK'. Medical companies can afford it.LeGendofSeven Thanks this.

Are they pushing 14hr days? Is there any real physical work involved or breaking down pallets? Why is the TO rate high
The pay isn't the highest but I've seen lower (cowan offered $22hr)mpow66m Thanks this. -
I have 2 years of exp and I have a twic + haz, tanker and triple endorsements. Trying to hold on for a fuel job but I need work asap, my last job lost our routes to penske
mpow66m Thanks this. -
The TO is high in all trucking jobs.Im sure you ll do a 14hr day now and again. When I was there I got barely over forty hrs at 19 /hr.Things are diff now.You do dock stops, pallet drops, break downs and hand trucks.Liftgates no ramps last I knew.If your not wanting a physical job, prob not for you.Ive always done physical labor so It wasnt a big deal for me.Check em out, whatve you got to lose.LeGendofSeven Thanks this.

No they wont do that, their pay scale is structured. But OP can try.

I actually ran freight for fresenius medical care before so I have a idea of what I'll have to do. From what I hear it sounds easier though, at fresenius you had to deliver up stairs to home patients if you ran the box trucks (2000lbs of liquid dialysis per stop).
The pay is obviously higher now but idk, it's either them or a fuel job for me rn. I really want a fuel job but I'm waiting on a responseexACT driver Thanks this.
