Dumbest thing I ever did was fallow quallcomm directions. Lead me to an 11'3" bridge. Dispatch asked me what the problem was. Told them Oh nothing all ways wanted a convertible. Good thing I looked and didn't just turn left down that road. Went right and found a different path.

    Lilbit Thanks this.

I believed my Dispatcher was telling me the truth, Certified Liar.

But the Dumbest thing I have ever seen someone else do, Watched a Guy pull up to the Fuel Island ( which was on a slight Downward Angle) Jump out of the truck and run to the Fuel Desk for who the hell knows what. When he came out his Truck was about 300 yards down the hill in the woods, he never pulled the Brakes, I was out of the truck when he pulled in, walked back to fuel the reefer walked back to the front to pull up and saw this Pretty Yellow cab over headed into the Woods, at this point it was to late to anything, When he came out he was screaming "who is f&*^%^& with me" I went in signed my Fuel Receipt came back out, he was walking around the Fuel Island looking for his truck, He came to me and said have you seen my (trucking company) truck? It was all I could to not to laugh at him, I pointed towards the woods, and said your co-driver took it down there. He started screaming I ain't got a Co Driver, I replied then you are the ##*^&^% idiot who did not set the brakes?

Don't worry! After it gets to about 20-30 degrees the pressure balances and it won't go all the up... until you try to stop! LOL!

is it just me but to other people get brain dyslexia. I can see and read just fine but for some reason i will look at a sign and know what it says but my brain with think its something else.
For example going thru lansing, mi on I69 then it merges with I96. I was going to port huron but somehow I was in grand rapids before i realized I was on I96 instead of 69.

Correct me if im wrong but isnt I69 east of lansing labeled as EAST instead North like it should be, And I96 labeled as north not west (when your north of lansing only)?

Ok, so i wasnt going nuts. SO why in the hell does DOT mess with standardized system and make an exception for our metric friends.

Just like why do we have km conversions in us just south of the border but in quebec there is no english sign to be found in that entire freaking provence

We've got the metric system in Arizona as well. I think it's I-19 down by Nogales.

And that's Quebec, Canada's version of California. If that is a problem, don't go there, or learn to read the signs. All the signs are International signage, the shape and colour of a yield sign, are the same in the U.S. as anywhere else. Just the words look different.

    When in Rome,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

I haven't had my coffee yet, sorry if I sound grumpy.:biggrin_25523:
