Evergreen AL at the little truck stop here. Darn good fried chicken at this champs chicken. I'm glad I am out of all that snow and everything finally for the first time in 3 weeks. Left outta Chi town yesterday about noon and ran out of hours just south of Louisville and woke up to an ice covered truck and tarps and everything else.....

O just to rub it into you drivers that are up in that crap still, its 67 degrees outside and AWESOME!!!

yeah its exit 96 but its on the other side of the interstate I think. I want to say the Citgo was to the left if your heading S on 65, this is to the right.

I rarely take that exit unless I'm heading to Pine Hill from my house. I never even knew there was a truck stop at that exit until a little while ago when I changed up my route to the paper mill.

Maybe it isn't a Citgo, but I know the one you're talking about--opposite side of the interstate from the McDonald's.

Yup... they do have some good 2-lanes around here. Unfortunately they're not very good at rebuilding bridges that have been out for 3 years... like the one on Hwy 44. So... you can go over 100 miles out of route south, or you can wait for the billybigrig wheelholders doing warp 9 in the hammer lane on a very slick highway or tailgating you, and the idiot 4-wheelers to quit jamming 70 and 465.

I vote for siesta time! Naps are good! :biggrin_25518:

At my receiver (got here an hour early...) in Franklin IN. Going to Buckner KY tomorrow, and then Grandview WA for early next week.
