Finally made it back to GP. Another driver delivered in Laredo and picked me up. I drove us back up here since he was out of hours. Gave me a truck to sleep in and put my stuff in. Looked it over and it's nice. Maybe they'll keep me in it, so I can just roll in the morning.

Glad you made it back. Your break down situation is something we all fear & hopes never happens. Here's to high miles &a trouble free truck.

Headed to Poltex from Waller to pick up a GP load. Should be there this afternoon (Wednesday). Outbound said they are already on Fridays loads....uggggg, hope I don't have to wait for the weekend freight before I roll again. I will be glad when I get this addition project done so I can get back to a normal (for me) schedule.

Thanks jdrentzjr. Got my truck this morning and waiting on Outbound to call. Kind of low on the board. Hope to get back rolling today.

Something new for me...Poltex had to live load my existing trailer. I am THE only Poly driver here. They say they didn't have time last night.

Still no call from outbound...getting a bit nervous.

Got the call from Outbound. The good news, it's going to Hagerstown, MD. The bad news, it's a Friday load. Oh well, guess I'll have plenty of time to get my truck ready. Ha!

2.5 hours to live load in Poltex...and I am 1 pin from the very rear to be legal on the trailer tandems. Good thing TX doesn't have a 41' bridge law. At 41' I was 36,200

And no call from Outbound today, sooooooooo that probably means I get a Saturday load. As long as it ends up being productive I will live with it.

Been on the outbound board for Friday since last Thursday and didn't get a call so don't know what the hell is up with that. Seems like that happens a lot and I don't understand how that many people can be in front of me that far in advance:) Oh well d/h tomorrow in Farmers Branch and then on to the yard for a PM.

    Wow !!

    That's a long wait for a load

Kinda make me wonder, delays that long with no pay could make for a healthy turnover rate .

How does a person keep the 2000 per week that's required sitting around so much :biggrin_2552:
