Just make sure you get an empty and you'll be fine. When I come off of hometime I usually get either a Restoration Hardware (Crate+Barrel furniture) load out of Mira Loma going to WA or a Kawasaki load out of Ontario back east to Lincoln. This last time since I went home bobtail they wanted me to run a shag out of the Fontana yard going into LA the next morning until I went around to a couple of the customers in the area (there's a WM DC 1 1/2 miles west of the yard on San Bernardino Ave, also Kellogg's is on Valley Blvd maybe a mile away in Fontana) and came up with an MT. Had me loaded up with a 1400 miler within minutes of letting em know I had a trailer. There's usually tons of freight in the area, don't let them stick you with bs.

I found my consignee in Louisville, no directions to it.
I used macro 41 and the route differed from my gps, but looked truck friendly.
Big Mistake, not blindly trusting Ms. Garmin, Mr Macro 41 is an evil *rick.

It seems I hear stuff like this almost exclusively from Garmin users. Step up to a Rand McNally.

I ignored my Garmin and followed the macro 41,

41 said make a left on Cobb st, but it was marked no left turns,
41 said make a right on ? street,
against my Garmin's demands I did, a narrow little street, that looked bigger on mapquest.

Anyways, I guess someone in Lincoln has been reading my posts about the safety awards, I had a big package from Lincoln waiting for me, it cost $5.75 to mail.
I first thought it was a bomb and found a little kid to open it for me, ( I gave her a quarter, afterwards)
    another safety award
Yup that's 2 this year. In my 8 years driving, the last 6 at Crete, only one major preventable accident that warranted going to DDC, 2 years ago I knocked a cover off the west coast mirror on a Freightliner.

    Here's last months award
