I wonder if dbls or planners actually review the loads before sending them out. How else can I get a load but have no info listed except the place to get it and deliver to...

    Vilhiem Thanks this.

Wouldn't adding a comment box solve a lot of issues too? I would imagine you try to report something but only have generalizations to use to report the defect. Being able to type exact what you see wrong helps

    I've had less than that...

"Hey I need you to work next week down at the Miller/Coors plant in Macon."

Google search and phone call confirmed a Miller/Coors distributor out of Macon, Ga.

Head down that way nice and early...only to get there and there's nary a pumpkin truck in sight...

Waited for my dbl to get into the office (I still had no other info other than Macon and Miller...). Gave her a call...

"Let me verify that...call you back."

    10 minutes later...

"Uhh...so it's Miller Coors alright. But it's not Macon. It's Albany."

Said I was on my way and set out...

    Got another phone call...

"How'd you know there was a Miller plant down in Macon?"

Not sure about planners but my DBL blasts the assignment to me as soon as it pops on his computer, figures I wear bigboy pullups now so he doesn't have to micromanage me as best as he can, last time I called in for the dreaded 3sum call he just said "can ya do it?" "Yup" "go for it, gotcher back"

    I'm tenacious..that's why I'm still here.
I make it work for me..even through all the BS they dole out.

Why do you care if any of us are still in a relationship with SNI?
Stomping on Big Orange got you out of joint I suppose.

When you report an issue, there is a comment box. But unless the next driver types out the same, it won't carry over.

I have been known to list the actual defect and a defect that'll show the trailer OOS so it'll red flag it with SNI and prevent it from being loaded at Jcp.

...the yard jockeys don't give a flying fox about the red tags...

Just make sure they paid you for all that driving the wrong way because you were misinformed

    They did. :D

    Was a fun week too...

Sooo...who wants to hear about the COMPANY tractors that run 65mph because the company allows it and let's them? :p

Miller/Coors runs involve one very stripped down Columbia, governed to 65 flat cruise or pedal.

And every load is maxed out. Don't know how to scale and slide? You're royally ####ed.

Those 3 ways are crazy....calling in to make sure I can deliver a 300mi load in 24 hours.....glad I rarely get those. I once called in for the 3 way when I got to the delivery point. Just forgot to read all the remarks. Oops
