Yes this. I had same problem, but it was my aluminum rim that was bent after a steer tire blew at highway speed.

I had issues like that with company trucks years ago. According to the mechanic, the drive tires don't always wear evenly front to back, so the small difference in tread depth causes them to rotate at slightly different speeds, and for some reason 50-60 mph is the range that they experienced "tandem hop". Not sure of the "why". They rotated tires, and it didn't help, but when they put new "maypops" on my truck, it went away for 100-150k, but once the tires had some wear, it came back. And this happened with more than one truck I have driven as well. The only way to avoid it, I guess, is to drive a truck with 1 drive and 1 tag like some companies have gone to in recent years.

Rotate drive tires so they wear even.

I have new Michelin steering tires they do balance on the truck, all tires are good they chek the front and back of the truck everything is looking good, problem shows is in the injector caps leaking and combustion gases go true in my case

dont know thats a very old school machine. but it takes the high spots out of the tire. makes it true again. call all and any real tire shops, even mom and pops. if you are ever in twin falls idaho. there is a mom and pop tire shop there. that has a truing machine.

I had the same issue a few years ago. Petro in Gary, IN discovered it was a broken belt in right steer tire & relaxed the tire. Problem solved.
