At best a yard move, which would interrupt a 8 hr sleeper berth. Unless you are on paper....

And the new PC rule only works IF your company allows it. Mine hasn't decided if they will allow us to use it or not.

I have been told if the truck is moved while on line 2, a violation will be flagged at the office, even though it doesn't show on the screen I have unless I trigger the driveline.
Last time I needed to move away from the dock unexpectedly, I switched to pc, will see how that works.
Those unloading must have gotten a fire lit under them. The next driver brought out the paperwork and got into his truck to back to the dock I was at.Bank_Lbr Thanks this. -

Find the nearest safe place to park and PC yourself there. Note it on the remarks when using off-duty driving and the DOT won't have any issues. But you can't go to the truck stop you WANT to go to, just the nearest safest location.
