Where is everyone #5

Had a guy drive in to IH shop I worked at. N14 hammering. Made it from IH Fort Wayne In to Lima Oh. Pulled the pan and it had beat every rod to death. Upon looking closer the guy that overhauled it at dealer used Never seize on rod and mains. Confirmed with a phone call. Put pan on and pushed it out for the wrecker to take it back.

 

Well he has wrenches too. Had his tractor in half a few days ago when I went by.

 

I'll tackle a lot of different projects, but I would pass on that one.

Yeah they show up occasionally to run some kind of scam. Funny cause you know there has to be guys that fall for it.

 

Of all the times for me to not be around. Are you North or South of the highway?

 

Well, it already sold. Guess I should have checked before I posted. I didn't figure it would hang around for that price. If I run across something like that again, I'll let you know.

 

South. Got me a heart attack burger from Applewood, see if we can't finish the day right.

 

If there's one thing I've learned from my time at the dealer its follow the manual. Assemble something by the book and if it screws up, chances are its not something you did.
