Ah. Tractor colors no longer matter. Blue trucks can be Crete drivers. Red trucks can be Shaffer drivers.

I think you're better off at Magnum.
I worked there. Wonderful company. Great people.
Only downfall is an insecure Safety Department. Fly under their radar. Also bring your own dash cam. You won't get dash cam video out of Safety for any reason.

After working for both. I'd have to go with Crete ahead of Magnum.

I have never worked for Magnum, but I have for Crete, I have heard a lot has changed since I worked for them and they may be a good company, but I will never go back to them.

Magnum doesn't have a Safety department. Completely incompetent. Absolutely will not stand behind you. Sell you out in a heartbeat. Otherwise a wonderful company.

Crete has lots of experience. Yup they are a Mega. They have understanding of everything going on. They'll give you a chance with psp points. They have comprehension. Well run company. Solid. Operations office is great. Dedicated is the place to be. Walks all over OTR.

Another Crete division that no one ever talks about is Hunt Transportation, which is Crete's Flatbed division
Don't think they are interchangeable like the other 2 though.

Maybe I'm just in a bad mood here...
You should know on Magnum's safety department.
We (Me and the company) got stuck with an idiot trying to pull insurance fraud at a cold storage facility. I covered the company well with pictures. No way any trailer could have caused the damage he had on his trailer. Just couldn't match. The company had dash cam video to prove that the guy wasn't even there when I pulled up to back in. He showed up after I was 3/4 of the way in. Lying to the cops through his teeth that he was there the whole time. Claiming he was yelling at me and honking his horn. It was ridiculous. He should have gone to jail for insurance fraud. Plenty of evidence. ... I find out after I left. Magnum admitted they put this on HireRight as my having an accident.
I got a ticket wrongfully. Magnum's safety department refused to give me the dash cam video to defend myself. Seriously talked out his ### about it. Later they tried to tell me that I need to look in the blue fmcsa book on what to do about a ticket. In other words... I'm not to go to court. Prove my innocence and have the ticket dropped?
Magnum's safety department needs to look in the Dictionary instead. Look up the definition of a Company. The key word is: together. ... Not against each other.
A house divided against itself will not stand.
The person in Safety responsible for all this is named Bryce. When I was in orientation. I overheard him on the phone. Telling a driver: "You can't turn down a load because of safety. We have forced dispatch." .... What? Safety overrides everything. Bryce has no business working in the Safety Department.
EDIT: One might also consider. Bryce might be doing exactly what upper management wants him to do. .... Think About It.....
