Drove a gmc general with a metal folding chair bolted to the floor...
We had a Ford 9000(hood not cabover) with a 290 cummins and a 9 speed, that hold a bench seat out of a pickup bolted to floor..

    WesternPlains and x1Heavy Thank this.

These girls I knew that were a team made this video of this spring ride refer.
It's cruel and unusual. That thing shook and vibrated like nothing you've ever seen lol.

Learned to shift a truck in an old 5 ton straight truck... I believe it was a 1956 chevy, had a 5 & 4 w/2-speed rearend.... It had a metal 3 legged milking stool bolted to the floor boards... That was one rough riding rig, and you ALWAYS had 2 hands on the wheel... More so to keep yourself on the stool than for steering.

The one I had with the Utility 45 foot reefer on springs with a 78 Cabover would destroy whatever camera you could velcro to the dash. Sometimes it tried to destroy the freight by shaking down the whole load off it's pallets.

Airride was the God that saved me in my future trucking after those days. OSD claims vanished to essentially nothing. I could probably still want to bet someone I can deliver a glass of wine in a special wineglass sitting 2/3 of the way on the floor of the 97' dane airride and see if the wine would be in it at the destination.

Just got back to my truck from eating... Was wet amd slushy when I parked, now its getting cold and freezing. Decided to roll back and forth on my apot to bed the truck so as not to freeze in. #### good think I did, I was already starting to freeze into my tracks. Had to put it into PC so I could get a little wheel speed to get moving. Ended up moving forward about 3 feet to get my drives on a small patch of bare asphalt.

Good night all. Remember: This sunday is when some of us have to spring forward with our clocks.
1st sunday in November to second sunday in March.

There's some seriously creative parking taking place at this one.
