When I make a tight turn my trailer will get stuck on the tractors frame and or tires. Its pretty bad almost shuts off the truck from the trailer weight hitting the drive axle tires.

Dont know specs to well but the semi is a 2012 Coronado. 3 axle.
Pulling a walking floor for ag commodities. what can I do to fix this.

    truckdriver31 Thanks this.

Check ride height. Is air spring bags inflated?

Move your 5th wheel away from cab. If you can, keep weight distribution in mind.

If this is a new problem check the ride height suggested by Snailexpress. If you've just paired this truck to the trailer. You may need to add a block between your 5thwheel and frame.

It may seem obvious (or not) but is your suspension switch in the 'up' position? Up as in not dumped.

Some live bottoms and grain belly hoppers require the fifth wheel to be up to 4 inches higher for tractor clearance.

    Snailexpress Thanks this.

When I pulled a hopper, I got two pieces of heavy duty steel tubing, length of the 5th wheel, then had holes measured and drilled at machine shop, and raised 5th wheel almost 4.5 inches.

    Snailexpress and SmallPackage Thank this.
