What if it Snows?

I remember.. driving with coveralls on, and a blanket across my lap and legs..
A guy broke down in 81ish Freightliner with the long hood that took 3 people to pull it over, and I gave him a ride to a truckstop in PA its off old hwy 309, Coopersville...Coopersburg.. Cooper something, Good old TS.
Anyway, the guy said, “Man I don’t want to offend you, but its warmer outside than in this truck..”
My reply, “Not offending me, I already knew that.”

 

Same struggle every truck stop.
She gets excited. Wants to park with a view of the pumps. I don’t want to pay for parking.

 

One of my deliveries today was at an Ag supply. The place was a zoo, literally.

 

Your going to have to convince the OM it was her idea first (the conversation that is) before any listening goes on!

 

Then... When I go inside. Come out to find her flirting with a driver.

 

Got a violation on inspection yesterday:
No reflective strip on mud flaps.
Oh boy.
Thought he was gonna get me for sure. That’s all he could come up with.

 

Did you ask him when he got down on his knees to pray before he goes to bed, to ask if he really thought he’d have done the right thing, and know he’d be saving so many lives on that total lack of safety equipment?

You were us danger to us all!
We could’ve ran into the back of your equipment without that reflective tape, we’d have alway wondered, what we just hit..
I realize it’s hard to read sarcasm..
