The 2 hour and 8 hour breaks meet and/or exceed the 30 minute requirement. Still cannot exceed the 8 hour period before taking the 30/2/8/10 though. So the driver would need to work/drive a minimum of 3 hours before taking their first split break if they want to drive past the 8 hour mark of their day.

Stop peeing outside your truck!!alds Thanks this.
-
Or just leave it on SB and leave the truck. How, exactly, are they going to catch you? Unless they are right there watching? That's only likely to happen in a rest area, which is part of why I rarely park in one.alds Thanks this.

They can 'catch' you up to 6 months after the fact. The motor carrier is required to hold onto your logs for 6 months. If a driver is involved in a fatality crash, you can bet the lawyers will be digging into the driver's logs looking for any instances of falsification.
One way is to compare bank records which have ATM time/date/location swipes, against your logbook which has time/date/location for every second the driver is responsible for the rig. So if they saw a driver swiped their ATM card while logged Sleeper, boom this will set up for a nuclear verdict. -
You could tell them you gave your ATM card to the "Lot Lizard" to go get her cash before performing her task. Or, you ordered food to be delivered to the truck.

Yes. As has been mentioned, you gripe a lot. 1. Don’t pee by your truck door then step in it. 2. If you pee by your truck door, more than likely you will have to step in it. 3. Find a better place to park. 4. Get a different job. Obviously this one does not suit you. Obviously you are not actually as timid as your username implies.
