Does anyone out there know of any wiper blades that aren't susceptible to leaving streaks of slush on the windshield?

    truckdriver31 and Bakerman Thank this.

It's not the blade so much as the arm. I've tried "good" wiper blades but they don't seem to do much better than the cheap ones.

I think @Tug Toy posted a YouTube video that tests various blades?

    Edit I found it.

It's also good to clean your blades when you clean the window. Just use a wet paper towel or whatever you have and clean any dirt and grime that's on them so they don't streak because of something's on the window.

Also, I use rainx...I apply it to the windows and in the cleaner itself.

I've used "Silblade" and was quite pleased. They're pricey but worked really well and lasted a long time.
This was on a flat windshield Peterbilt, not too sure how well they'll work on a curved windshield.
Pretty sure you'll have get them online as I personally have never seen them in a store. BOL

They don't make em like they used to.

That being said, I think alot of it comes from "road grime" stuck on the windshield and wiper blades.

Pick up a spray bottle that you can fill up with water and add a small amount of dish soap Into. It only takes a few drops. 4-6 drops the first bottle then maybe 3 drops the following.

Grab a brass pottscrubber (Loves sells them), one of those "sponges" for washing dishes with the abrasive green side, or some 00/000 steel wool pads and use them to scrub the windshield the first cleaning. You will feel resistance and bumps the first time you clean it, just keep going until it is smooth and not bumps when you scrub the glass.

Pickup your own squeegee and only wash the windshield with that bottle of dish soap and water, also wipe off the wiper blades. Try to avoid the truck stop buckets and squeegee and the fuel island, It sounds like overkill but it helps alot. Truck stop wash buckets are full of blue water, mayb some antifreeze, and whatever fuel, DEF,grease good old Joe just wiped off thier truck.

    Guaranteed or your money back!

Well, maybe just my 2¢ worth.
