Only you can answer whether you "need" to go back on the road, but that's a deal breaker for me. As much as I enjoyed Maine, Louisiana and Texas, my house is the best place to be. There's an English Mastiff here to wrestle with!

 

I think you need to find another local job or some dedicated that don't keep you out so long.
