Anyone run these as extra lights I’m not referring to work lights or back up lights but a spot lamp I’ve noticed a few trucks on I-80 during evening time they really give a great beam But mostly mounted on the bull bar or bumper have yet to see an American trucker with these types of lights mounted on the sun visor

Yes, I know there are some vehicles optioned that way from the factory (Jeep Liberty, Chevy Colorado, to name two), but they're only for off-highway use and they're sold with covers.
Having said that, I've had trucks with amiable spot lamps on the mirrors and A-pillars. Always turned down or to the rear when not in use.Last edited: Mar 26, 2020

Anyone who drives down the highway with auxillary LED lights powered is an automatic d-bag. Can't stand running down a highway and being instantly blinded by these stupid lights. Especially in adverse weather. If you mount these to your truck please turn them off when you're passing an incoming vehicle, whether you're on a divided highway or not
