We stopped doing business down there.

Our Lawmen are actively hunting anyone who does not belong ranging outwards in patrolling. Its unfortunate that we stopped going to J'Ville. Certain amount of money is spent there.

In two? Well I expect to have a new bug. Backup Gun and a number of other improvements to the situation at home. Finding one with a steel frame is a little different than your run of the mill plastics. (Which are very good, but not with my ammunition.) My armor is expired but rifle plates or replacment will solve the issue. May look into denim jacket type armor that has begun to be produced as a new technology way to provide some protection and not look stupid.

We are a month ahead in making masks already, don't need too many. As they say there is a certain point that it becomes a quiet waiting before the battle or storm. Thats where we are now.

Walmart's evolving is not helping stacking herds of people at the one door.

X, you wanna know something funny?
People think the bad times start when they can't go to Walmart.
Bad news is, that would be last week.

    Best wishes to all

All I can think is that finally no one is picking on preppers large or small. We are all preppers now. lolz.

A second side track of thought. People here are thinking we will be closed at any time. Out of fear so they continue mobbing. I like to think that our Gov wont close any time soon, we will just take the deaths and sick and keep on trucking. As of today only 43 are on vent, maybe two times that in hospital. Rest of 745 sick are at home. We only lost 14, some in perfect health and young er.

My wife had the nerve to ask me to go to Walmart yesterday. l said "HELL NO!" ----That would be asking to catch this virus IMHO. As for " Why do you continue to shop at Safeway?" Because there are only two other grocery stores here. Roth's which is a dollar higher cost per item across the board and Grocery Outlet where most items are expired date. We are close enough to Salem and far enough from Salem too.

The white county walmart had bad ventilation during winter months these last 5 months. I would enter one side healthy as a horse exit the other side getting ready to puke. So I switched to morning opening at a local higher dollar store even if it is about 30% more per item. Air is fresh as a meadow by the time the ventilation had a whole night to clear the place.

We probably spent approximately 3000 so far give or take for several of us.

Guess I'll bring the subject up.... All this lock down stuff is to protect people with "compromised immune systems".

They closed the schools to keep the kids from getting infected and bring it home to share with the family (think grandparents).

Probably a good call...... would keep the kids from being accused of killing their grandparents.

    other side of the coin.....

I would be alright with loosing a bunch of the at risk people. Clearing out some of the ranks of upper-management and senior employees I think would be good for the economy and help bring new life into those corporation. Also it would give hope to younger management types that are stuck waiting for the old farts to move on. It's part of the circle of life that our society has warped too long by allowing folks to stay beyond on appropriate retirement age.

I am to the point I would prefer to just get exposed and battle it out rather than be in lock down for a year or 2 till "they" get together a vaccine.

I feel the nursing homes were infected by children as carriers and so on. The children being powerful strong in immune systems. I don't blame the children. Thats not what I am saying. Our USA was just too distracted by other problems to worry or do anything soon enough to matter.

Our Governor just now issued a ban on travelers in our state from staying at our hotels etc. If you are not here on Business and just playing at traveling you aint going to find a place to rent a room and be on your way out of state. we found out that we are being abused by New Orleans people coming here to work around Texas and other blocks as well as abuse our open policy.
