When I was much younger, i needed a lot more sleep, and could go to sleep at the drop of a hat, on most days.
These days, I need a LOT less sleep and frequently cannot go back to sleep after waking up, for at least 12+ hours.
My average sleep duration over time is around 5 hours. Some days 4, others 6. On rare occasions. I will wake in only 3, or sleep up to 8.
I am close to the clinical definition of a Super Sleeper, and have been for decades. That's one reason why I know for a fact that the two labs associated with trucking companies that have done sleep apnea tests on me have fudged the tests somehow.
Nobody with actual sleep apnea can average 5 hours sleep per night, without a breather, and not need a nap mid-day.

I don’t do anything but drive eat and sleep. I don’t have a TV, game system or any other gadgets with me on the road.
I don’t even have unlimited data. I work and go to bed.Farmerbob1 Thanks this. -
