Ok. Some things work better for some and not for others. ( % vrs hourly) Used to be lots of milking the clock, mayby with the eld, and gps thats cut back some? I used to do alot of grocery dry goods van, not reefer. Rates were decent, but wait time was mostly awful. Only thing that made it better was detention after 2 hours. Even a place in Fremont Ohio i waited 5 to 6 hours. That was for a pickup. Company i was leased to then only gave them 1 free hr. 50 per hr was nice while sleeping. That was 16 years ago. Landstar driver was there when was waiting..asked him if he was getting paid to wait..he said nope. The whole trucking gig has always been a scamable business in various ways.
Reefer vs dry van company drivers?
