There is a easy solution for this. Don't park where you're not supposed to. Nobody owes you a place to park. As nasty as a lot of drivers are today I don't blame these places for booting and towing.

The very fact they said you can't take photos and talk to other driver and cops themselves wouldn't say this unless there was a dispute between the two is nothing short of illegal. I have never been told by police saying you cannot record and I record every time there's an encounter nothing personal against cops, but I do have something personal against people who get a badge and act like nothing more than thugs.

Anyways I would have called the local Sherriff and not police am sorry but most police officers are ignorant on laws had one other day I had to explain a law forget what was about anyways long story short call my buddy who was a Sherriff deputy and he explained it.

On a side note they cannot tow a truck with people in there thus they would need police anyways. I have read that some say the property is leased to Walmart most ones I have seen are owned but unless the lease states something specific not enforceable even then there are ways around it being a store and if you have permission from the manager. I have had similar and talked to the manager he told me you can't stay here unless you shop here.

The article states the guy who was requesting payment on the boot removal had put up the no parking signs illegally, he nor the tow company he worked for did not have permission to be doing anything on that lot.

Moral of story something seems fishy, call the men in blue had many people have tried to try con me before never works out for them. I used to solve the issues by old school way leave the police out but with everyone having cameras nowadays never a good idea. Especially if it records only after you strike first and not the other way around.

Doesn't matter. It's private property and I bet he didn't have permission to park there.

If there isn't a local ordinance against truck parking it is up to the store manager. The stores are tired of litter and landscaping getting tore up and customers cars getting hit.

You will find that cars want to get hit by semis at Walmart on purpose so they can sue. had several try that crap with me they never left the car just parked in front me I had my truck nose pointing out even the fact he was blocking an area people don't park was enough for me to call the local police.

They were banned from Walmart for there troubles because they block the aisles, I had permission to park there because I asked the manager after I delivered a load there was talking to her when she was in the warehouse.

And I agree it's truckers fault we get banned from areas because some lazy fat sacks crap too lazy use restrooms in-store instead leave them in bottles for the staff to pick up.

As for the ordinance, your wrong example one my properties an oil field company had placed pipes on my property I could have sued them but they offered money a lot of money and asked if they could place a makeshift road free of charge for me. In the agreement I stated they can use the roads however by entering the premises they waive any liability for dangerous driving on the drivers, they also may not stay there after their operation use basically no sleep there I won't be picking up there crap in bottles and if I report any at all the company will pay me and pay to have it removed. also, there is a manager on the property he, however, cannot give anyone permission to stay there overnight it was stated very clearly in the contract, This is a deer lease property I don't need them getting any ideas harming my animals without paying for the hunt.

No I am right on about the ordinance. The private fleet cant even park at stores that have a local ordinance against truck parking. The day is coming when there will be no truck parking at any Walmart store.

I wasn't disagreeing to ordinance just the manager part overriding the owner of the actual property,
One of my other properties even it's on the lease they can build on it but the land will still be mine and if you violate the contract you can be kicked out.

As for the no parking at places like this, it's really truckers' own fault for being lazy and some downright disgusting animals.
