why does it take a mass gathering to get us started?

Some states might have slightly different ability in their Constitution but for the bulk of the states they can't.

 

And I'm also pretty sure the POTUS and fed govt have the power to re-open states by using the interstate commerce clause in our Constitution.

 

I don't stake too much on anything done by man, however it is clear in my lifetime and that of my grandparents and those before them that medicine and sciences has evolved. If you were to consider the problems THEY put up with it would have easily been remedied today by elective surgery or traced with nuclear or other really sharp MRI that are operating in dimensions that are hard to believe. We did not have those in their time. They would have called it black magic or what have you.

I am a little tough with medicine people. I go in expecting 60's era treatments to be done and they laugh and tell me that they quit doing that int he 80s and do this modern stuff instead. So easy they say.

I am not going to celebrate them too much. I appreciate that the doctors can fix what they can fix and let the rest go that does not need fixing as it turned out. However they need to be careful. Generations from now we might think we are Gods inpervious to common problems like death. Due to the advances in medicine and science. With some of the problems I deal with daily (Inflammation storms for one) I don't wish to live a thousand years. No way. Just let death take it';s course when it's time.

I guess we’ll just have to stay tuned, and maybe learn something about States rights, and Federal powers. Last time I checked, We’re not under a Dictatorship, yet.

 

I would absolutely love to go over that but they would throw me out so fast.

This to me is the right way to handle it. An it shouldn't have been shut down. They took all the precautions they could short of making it 'virtual'. Cops/town screwed up on this call.

I am sorry but the country has gone mad I am all for protecting there love ones, however example going HEB they told my lady she had to have a basket between me and her haven't had this issue at Walmart.

Dumb as can be if I gotta worry about her giving it to me it's too late because share same bed same with this church as long they stay in their cars I don't see an issue I realize the cops are ordered to enforce but this is nuts. Since when did a pandemic give reason to stomp on our constitutional rights. Mind you I have been wearing face mask and gloves everywhere but there's gonna been a fine line they should not be crossing. I would like to add if everyone had to wear mask and gloves the curve would be better if your out and about this is normal in Korea, Japan such.
I say they force more companies to make the mask, and gloves distribute them free and tell people to get back to work. That's just me.
