There was a small company (less than 30 trucks) I was looking to get in with, but their insurance requirements are 3 yrs. experience.

Birmingham is trucking capital for Alabama.
Plenty of companies to choose from.
A few not listed so far
P&S transport
Montgomery -
What kind of hours and miles would those drivers typically be putting in? How many loads in a day?
Where im at now i dont think i could run hard enough to take that home even on 1099. -

Steer clear of Rinaudo!!!
They will lie to your face and cheat you at every opportunity!!! They are one of the very worst carriers in America!!!! I worked there for a few months and had to borrow money to pay my bills. -
Every possible thing they mentioned in orientation that they could possibly blame on the driver, they will. It is also grounds for dismissal, no matter how trivial. -
McElroy is still privately owned.
All these companies have loads that are tarped, for the most part. They have a good freight base and access to more. As I write, I too am looking at the Daseke Group for possible driver employment... -
